Understanding the experiences of living with dementia: Recognizing and Addressing Stigma and Discrimination
People with lived experience identify the stigma they face with a dementia diagnosis as one of the most challenging aspects of living with dementia. This presentation will draw on research and personal experiences to explore how stigma impacts the lived experience and offer insights as to what we can all do to challenge stigma.
